Building Thought Through Conversations

Participants

These are talkPOPc participants for the three topics (Nominalism, Censorship, and Art as Cognition). After each topic begins with Shottenkirk’s work on the topic with both a book project and visual artworks, the process opens up to the generating of thought. Resident Philosophers and talkPOPc members go out into the world and ask participants: what do you think about this topic? These photos show people who have wandered by and stopped into the bodega, the gallery, the park, Grand Central station, etc. and sat down with a philosopher and talked. And got listened to. talkPOPc builds thought. This is consensus in the making.
